Trouble receiving emails?

For reasons that are somewhat technical, several large providers, notably Hotmail, Yahoo, and GMail, have suddenly decided that we are a potential spam sender and have blocked our email. Because of this, several general announcements have not reached our parents. These announcements are available here for your convenience.

If you really want to know the reason why this is happening, read on:

Our ISP associates an IP address with a MAC address. Each piece of network hardware has its own, unique MAC address. So of course, when we replaced our existing firewall appliance with a new one, the MAC address changed. And so did the IP address. All our ISP's "static" addresses are actually reserved dynamic addresses, and so the address we received was a random one out of the ISP's pool of dynamic addresses. This IP address is on the Spamhaus PBL as being dynamic, and Hotmail at least has received spam from it in the past. Additionally, Yahoo seems to arbitrarily block dynamic addresses. We've requested that Spamhaus take it out of the PBL list, and have set up DNS records to indicate that we are not spammers, but we may still have to contact group postmasters to allow our information through.
