Who are our students?

60 - 70% of our students achieve a regular, "Dogwood" graduation.

Our class compositions are as follows:

K-5 - annex school:
At our annex we integrate our special needs students into all classes. In addition we have an additional special class for students with more intense needs.

6 - 12 Main School:
Grade 6/7 - classes are now divided for specified teaching due to an increasing curriculum load. One class is on a regular/adapted program. One class on an adapted/modified program.

High School:

Our High school is divided as follows:

Grade 8,9,10,11,12 - on REGULAR curriculum with adaptations - will receive a regular "Dogwood" graduation and proceed to post secondary programs.

C1, C2, C3 - Modified Curriculum Groups - modified and placed according to ability and reading/writing/math levels. They will obtain a School Completion Certificate and most go onto post secondary programs for students with disabilities.

We have a number of students categorized as having a LEARNING DISABILITY, including GIFTED learning disabled.
